In this article, we will explore how this module can help your e-commerce business.
After installing the module, you will need to configure the Website Fraud Rules, where you can customize fraud detection flows for your website.
To do this, navigate to Website > eCommerce > Website Fraud Rules and click on "New" , to create the first flow.
Flow 1: Payment Captured by PayPal
If yes, proceed to Flow 2.
If no, capture the payment. (In this case, the message "You can capture the payment safely" is displayed, but it can be customized.)
Flow 2: Amount > $1000
If yes, send an email (using a fully customizable template) to the sales manager for payment review. Optionally, add a "Fraud Review" Sales Order tag.
If no, capture the payment.
After building the flows aligned with our company, let’s test the entire process.
Once the client places an order (in this case, amount > $1000)
And the payment is authorized, as shown in the image below
The sales manager on the backend will receive a customized email regarding the order that needs to be captured. This information will also be logged in the chatter.
They can also check all the orders that need to be reviewed and have their payment captured by using the “Group by Tags” function to find the orders with the “Fraud Review” tag assigned, allowing for a quick and efficient fraud detection system.
After the sales manager verifies all the sales orders that have the fraud detection warning and looks good, they just need to click the “Capture Payment” button, and the process will be the same as a normal sales order.
