Back in 2010, when Odoo wasn't yet a paid product and was still a growing community project, I started exploring it out of pure curiosity. At the time, Odoo (then OpenERP) was already being used in over a hundred countries—but there were very few people implementing it.

That's how my journey began. I was coding, configuring, and helping companies set up their first Odoo systems—and soon, people from around the world started reaching out for help.

But what truly drew me to Odoo wasn't just the technology. It was the philosophy behind it. I was working inside a company, searching for a system that wouldn't lock us into a single vendor—something open, flexible, and adaptable to our unique processes. I wanted software that I could understand, improve, and grow with.

When I discovered Odoo, it checked every box:

• Built on Python, a language I already loved
• Modular enough to evolve with any business

Over the years, one principle has guided every project: critical thinking. It’s not enough to follow a requirement list—we need to understand the reasoning behind it, challenge assumptions, and find the most effective path to real improvement. That discovery led me to build what later became ERPGAP—a team dedicated to helping businesses achieve the same freedom and adaptability I was looking for back then.
